The Chao Phraya Express Boat is a boat service that operates on the Chao Phraya River, providing express transportation in traffic-congested inner Bangkok, Rattanakosin (old city) and Nonthaburi. The service serves both local commuters and tourists. The 21 km route is served by 65 boats of with 200 seats each and operates 6:00 am to 7:30 pm daily. Prices are 9 to 32 baht, depending on distance travelled. The service carries about 40,000 passengers per day and is run by the Chao Phraya Express Boat Company. Route The service runs between Nonthaburi and Rat Burana districts in Bangkok. The Sathorn pier has an interchange where passengers able to change boats or change their transportation to ferry, longtail boat, Skytrain or bus.
